Alien Mag X TSH (The Student Hotel) ⎯ 2020

In collaboration with The Student Hotel, a student accomondation, we had an event centered on international womens day. In that event three different women shared gave a talk about various topics. For the promotion of the event poster were made that showed the preceptions of other people about the women in question. Unfilitered comments that were made straight in their face, not thinking about how it may come across. With this we wanted to show how the lives of women of colour looks like on a day to day basis.

I added the graphics on the posters, were I blended the two brand, especially their brand guides (Alien Mag and TSH) together. Together with the AM team we came up with the concept to showcase quotes of comments around their head to show visualise the comments coming from different angles from different people. I cut out the portraits from the original images, that were provided from different people. The credits from each cover are mentioned at the end of this description.

The posters were made on size A4, A3, and A2.

Alien Mag covers ⎯ 2021 & 2022

Since 2021 we have digital covers that we publish on our social media an blog every month. In every cover there is one or more women of colour the cover model(s). They share their personal stories that are open and honest. No sugar coating, or glamorized. Also with each cover we worked another team of creatives. From MUA's to photographer. My role in this is to provide the covers with graphics that includes the AM logo, the title, subtitle, and additional elements that amplifies the cover. With each cover I try to make the graphics complement the cover. The colours are seperate from the AM branding, to ensure that the graphics fit the overall look and feel of the cover as best as possible. The credits from each cover are mentioned at the end of this description.

The cover were made on Instagram Portrait size, because they were posted and promoted there.
