Sense of Self
During my master program in London, I developed an interest in creating moments of self reflection and ease more than ever. Being new to the city; discovering the everyday life there, felt overwhelming at times. Sense of Self was born out of that need of going back the inner-self.
About the project
This thesis project promotes moments of self reflection and connection, by conversation. Sometimes we get consumed by our own thoughts, so much I becomes our truth. Creating a space where you have a conversation with a confidant while being anonymous, can bring new insights on the topic by your choice.
The video above is a mini docu about the project, that I edited and filmed. The filming happened using my phone, after that curated scenes that fits the narrative I want to tell. Using the selection of the scenes, I wrote a script and recorded it. After that the record was added, and the script as subtitles. When that was all set, a background song was selected and incorporated in the docu.
